OUR STORY
WE ARE GETTING MARRIED (:
As the story goes, we met working at Snowflake in the summer of 2018 and after a night of pop-up opera and dancing to 90s punk rock karaoke at Belushi's bar in London, our journey started. We spent that summer getting to know each other's friends and family, attending music festivals, playing American drinking games (this was a learning curve for Olivia!), and it was at Octoberfest in Munich that September where we said 'I love you' for the first time. Fast forward to 2021 and we had an eventful year. We bought our beautiful first home together in the Surrey Hills and then, during Thanksgiving week at Ryan's family home in California, he proposed! With rose petals leading up to the top of the garden, surrounded by candles, stood Ryan ready to ask that very important question. Olivia was shocked and cried and laughed, while some of our closest friends hid in the bushes with cameras to capture it all. It was perfect.

There are direct trains from London Waterloo to Haslemere (15 minute taxi ride to Cowdray House) or from London Victoria to Chichester (25 minute taxi ride to Cowdray House)

Cowdray House has 24 beautiful uniquely decorated bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. As you are invited to the full weekend celebrations, we would be delighted if you would accept our hospitality and stay as our guest at the main house with us. A room has automatically been assigned for you to stay in, however if you would prefer to book your own local accommodation please let us know.

DRESS CODE
Friday 9th June
SMART-CASUAL
We look forward to welcoming you to the house on the Friday. Please be casual and comfortable when you arrive! We have some fun outdoor activities planned, followed by tea & coffee. In the evening we'll be hosting a welcome dinner to kick off the weekend celebrations, where attire is smart-casual. There is also both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, so bring swimwear if that takes your fancy!
Saturday 10th June (Daytime)
FORMAL GARDEN PARTY ATTIRE
The dress code for our wedding day is formal summer garden party attire, including a suit and tie for the gentlemen, and either cocktail-length or ankle-length dresses in summery bright or pastel shades for the ladies. If the ladies would also like to have some fun with hats or fascinators, please feel free to do so!
Please note that the ceremony and drinks reception will (hopefully - English weather permitting!) be held in the garden.
Saturday 10th June (Evening)
There will be a break in the schedule before the evening party guests arrive and the band kicks off! If you would like to have an outfit change into something more glitz and glam ahead of the evening celebrations you will have time for this, and we would recommend some shoes made for dancing!
REGISTRY
Your love, laughter and company during our wedding weekend is all we could possibly need. However, if you would like to honour us with a gift, a donation in our name to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home or a contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated. We have also put together a short gift registry of items we would treasure in our home if that is preferable.
